Tristen James made his debut here at Butch Dixon in Leather Daddy – leather chaps and vest, a jockstrap, and a bridge cap. And he looked hot. He's back again in a different look in his leather jacket and denim jeans. I miss this look. I remember back when I was in my twenties and thirties, the leather jacket and a good pair of worn denim jeans were the uniform of a gay man. Walking up and down the main street of my gay neighbourhood so many of the men back then were competing for the hottest-looking leather jacket. And combat boots – we all wore black combat boots.
I wish those days would return. Those were the times when gay men looked like men before so many of them started shaving their chests and plucking their eyebrows. I still can't get into a man who has perfectly shaped eyebrows. But to each his own, I guess there are all kinds of looks and we shouldn't shun one another over how we groom or dress. But maybe it's not all in the past just yet. Recently I grew a full beard. I have always had a moustache or a goatee, but never a full beard. And I started to notice that I was turning a lot of heads as I walked down the street. So it would seem that a lot of gay men are turned on by men with beards. So perhaps there's hope that this leather and denim look might make a come back, or an updated version.
I recently had Tristen James return to my studio for a flip-flop fucking session with Luke Rivera. And before these two horny men got down to the action, I had this sexy leather man do some posing in his leather jacked and tight-fitting denim jeans. And don't you miss jeans that fit a man's body? I'm so tired of those baggy jeans with back pockets all the way down on a man's thighs – they make it seems like no man has a nice ass anymore. Pockets on jeans ought to be across a man's butt cheeks, they help accentuate his ass. With men like Tristen James, there's hope that we'll be moving on from some of the worst fashion trends since clogs and toe socks.
